About STIP
The BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize (STIP), established by the Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation (HKATI) and sponsored by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, is a non-governmental merit-based award.
The STIP aims at rewarding outstanding scientists and research teams in Hong Kong or research-related institutions set up by Hong Kong higher education institutions and located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, for their significant achievements in scientific and technological innovation and transformation.

Every Prize Winner (or Group) will receive

Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation (HKATI), aiming at building a tight bond between scientific research platforms, institutions, organizations, groups and innovative technology enterprises in Hong Kong, is a non-profit organisation established on 15th July 2022. The missions include but not limited to facilitating interdisciplinary exchanges and innovative cooperation, researching on policies of science and technology innovation in Hong Kong, promoting cooperation and development of science and technology innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and enhancing the atmosphere of technological innovation in Hong Kong.

Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre
As originally suggested by Prof. YANG Chen Ning, the Centre was established and registered in Hong Kong in March 1985.
The Centre is a not-for-profit institution serving academic exchange. It aims to promote the initiation and development of activities involving academic, science and technology interflow, as well as cooperation between Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas institutes by providing enquiry services, liaison and financial assistance, etc.
The Centre is commissioned by Mainland education, science and technology units, and supported by the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. At present, participation in the Centre's Board of Directors includes such institutions as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the China Association for Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
