Dr. Raymond Leung

• Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Altai Technologies Limited

 Dr. Leung, Chairman and CEO of Altai Technologies Limited, was the Chairman of TDK China and SAE Magnetics, and EVP of TDK Corporation Japan. He is also a distinguished industrialist and entrepreneur in HK. With his advanced and innovative thinking, he guided SAE to become the
world's largest independent supplier of magnetic recording heads for HDD industry. He was the Founding Chairman of Amperex Technology Limited (ATL) and one of the founder of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd (CATL), the leading supplier of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

Dr. Leung has been conferred Honorary Fellow/University Fellowship from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also an Industrial Fellow by WMG, the University of Warwick, and has received Outstanding Alumni Award from both the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and City University of Hong Kong. Currently, Dr. Leung is an Adjunct Professor in Engineering Department and a Council Member of City University of Hong Kong. In recognition of his contribution to the city’s economic growth and development, he was bestowed the title of Honorary Citizen of Dongguan City. In charitable arena, he is the Board Chairman of Give2Aisa Hong Kong.

Dr. Raymond Leung graduated with an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) degree from the City University of Hong Kong.
