Professor Charles Cantor is Emeritus Professor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Center for Advanced Biotechnology at Boston University. He served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Sequenom from 1998 to 2013. He was elected Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors and the Biophysical Society, Member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and Honorary Member of Japanese Biochemical Society.
