Ir. Eric Chan is Chartered Engineer and Fellow member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK). Chan is currently Chief Public Mission Officer of Hong Kong Cyberport and is responsible for building the ecosystem of nurturing I&T start-ups and young entrepreneurs for Hong Kong. Chan is a veteran in the ICT industry and has held senior management positions at MNCs prior to joining Cyberport, including Hutchison Telecom, HGC Global Communication, Hong Kong Telecom etc.. Chan is active in public services, especially in education, industry training, professional bodies and charitable organisations. Chan is current Chairman of ICT Industry Training Advisory Committee (Qualification Framework), Chairman of Knowledge Management Development Center, Member of university advisory committees and IMC member of secondary schools.
